BOTOX ® is an ideal nonsurgical treatment for both men and women 18 years and older who want preventative maintenance or to soften the appearance of dynamic lines and wrinkles on their face that may make them appear sad, mad or tired.  This treatment is effective without giving you a “frozen” face. 

BOTOX ® treatments are performed as an outpatient procedure conveniently in our office. If it is your first time to visit us for BOTOX®, we often perform the injection the same day as your complimentary consultation!  The provider will ask you to make different facial expressions within--like squinting, frowning, etc., which will allow us to plan where the injections will be placed. The treatment area will be cleansed and BOTOX® will be applied with a fine needle, followed by gentle compressions to help lessen swelling, bruising, and discomfort. BOTOX® treatments typically take about 10-15 minutes and you are able to resume a normal routine after your appointment.

After BOTOX ® treatment, you may notice mild swelling and redness near the injection sites, but this typically will resolve quickly. Results are often seen within 8-12 days as the look of your lines are decreased for a smoother, softer appearance.
