About BBL

Treatment Technique
After your consultation, we will develop a treatment plan with the various BBL applications to target your skin problems (acne, discoloration, hair removal, etc.) and we will adjust the settings for each condition that is being treated before passing the laser over your skin. Your eyes will be protected from the light. The treatment time will vary based on the goal and the size of the area being treated, but most BBL sessions take less than one hour.
What to Expect
After the treatment is complete, we will apply sunscreen to the treated skin and go over the aftercare instructions. You will be able to leave right after the appointment and resume normal activities. Results develop and improve for 2 – 6 weeks after the BBL treatment. Most patients at ARTisan see the best results from repeated scheduled treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart.
