What is the BBL Hero?
- Best Cadidates - Great for all ages (20-70s) depending on skin concern!
- Results - Can be seen best after a series of three, improves skin pigmentation concerns, rosacea, acne, and hair removal.
- Conditions Treated - rosacea, broken capillaries, sun damage (hyperpigmentation), acne, hair removal
- How is it different from our regular BBL (technique, downtime, safer for darker fitzpatrick skin types)? BBL Hero can be completed much quicker than traditional BBL, it heats and cools the skin more quickly for a more comfortable experience and improvements are seen in just 1 treatment. We recommend a series of 3 treatments for best results.
- It can be used on all skin types, safest for those 1-3.
- Pre/Post Treatment, Downtime - There is little to no downtime with BBL! You may experience temporary redness immediately after that quickly fades. 1-2 days later you may experience some MENDs (microscopic epithelial necrotic debris) surface, which resembles a coffee ground appearance. We ask that you have no active tan 2 weeks prior to treatment. This includes no spray tans, self-tanner or time in the sun. We also ask for no direct sun exposure 2 weeks after for the safety of your skin. If using a retinol, we ask that you discontinue it 2-3 days prior. This product can be resumed a couple of days post-treatment.
- Recommended Maintenance - 1-2 maintenance treatments per year; start with a series of 3 corrective.
