About the MicroLaser Peel
The MicroLaser Peel can dramatically change the way your skin feels and looks through precision laser resurfacing treatments at ARTisan Skin & Laser Center in Sioux Falls, SD. This is a superficial peel that gently removes a sheer layer of discolored/damaged skin. Not only does it improve the tone, texture, and coloring of the skin, the MicroLaser Peel also reduces some visible signs of aging, such as fine facial lines. If you have noticed your skin is looking dull or tired, call ARTisan today to schedule a private complimentary consultation with our team under the leadership of our board-certified ophthalmologist Dr. Alison R. Tendler.

I was very comfortable during the procedure, and was able to go to work as soon as we were done. I will be going back for sure! I highly recommend Artisan and Dr Powell."- M.L. / Google / Jul 18, 2019

MicroLaser Peel Ideal Candidates
Men and women who have mild to deep wrinkles are ideal candidates for MicroLaser Peel treatments and are often over the age of 25 years. Ideal candidates typically have various skin issues such as hyperpigmentation, sun spots, uneven skin tone, rough dermal texture, and dull skin.
MicroLaser Peel Treatment Technique
All our MicroLaser Peel treatments are performed on-site in one of our spa-like treatment rooms. During your treatment, you will lay down comfortably in our luxurious procedure chairs as one of our team members preps your skin. Once your skin is cleansed and free of any makeup, we will apply a topical numbing cream and use the handheld MicroLaser Peel device to gently glide over the target areas of your skin. Since this treatment utilizes a laser technology, we will provide protective eyewear for you to wear during your procedure for your comfort and safety. MicroLaser Peel treatments usually last about 30 minutes.
What to Expect with MicroLaser® Peel
You should expect your skin to start mending within the first 24 – 48 hours of your treatment. This is an essential part of the healing process as the laser has specifically targeted the dead and damaged epidermis. Once these dermal cells peel away, a new smooth layer of skin will be revealed within 3 – 5 days, but optimal results are usually seen at one week post procedure. Typically, we recommend patients receive 2 – 3 treatments at around 6 – 8 week intervals for optimal results.
